The Akron Brass pressure relief valve has been redesigned for easier pressure setting and adjustment at the factory and in the field. The new Style 53 is a direct replacement for the Style 59 and is 100% backwards compatible.

Features
The pressure relief valve is spring loaded for use on main pump intakes utilizing a 4-bolt flange. It has field adjustable pressure settings from 50 psi – 250 psi and is of a brass construction.

An Akron Brass Style 53 Intake Pressure Relief Valve shall be provided. The Intake Pressure Relief Valve shall have a flange to allow mounting to a 4-bolt pump intake flange. The unit shall be adjustable from 50 to 250 psi and be factory set at 125 psi. The outlet shall be 2 ½” NPT, 2 ½” NH or 2 ½” Standard Grooved connection and shall weigh 14 3/8 lbs.
