When you put the truck into pump gear, SAM automatically opens the tank to pump and recirculates water. Instead of focusing on the pump panel, the pump operator can assist the attack crew on the fireground.
The SAM Smart Nozzle empowers attack crews to charge their lines and view tank levels. The pump operator can see real-time valve pressure, hose/friction loss, nozzle pressure, and more. The result? Fewer calls for water and the correct pressure and flow at the end of the line.
The truck plumbing is the same as a traditional firetruck, with a layer of technology to support the crew. Controlled in an industrial-grade, weather-resistant 10” touch-screen display, SAM constantly monitors the pump, pre-empting and preventing water supply issues.
