The CRASH DAYS INTERSCHUTZ activities are split between two key locations for maximum efficiency:

  • Hands-on Training: Takes place at the Outdoor Area N73. This area is strategically located right in front of Pavilion 33.

  • Certified Workshops: Are held inside Pavilion 33.

Both locations are conveniently situated close together, allowing for easy transition between the practical extrication training and the certified theoretical workshops. Registration is directly at the IDEX Fire & Safety Pavilion 33 at the merch shop.

Our training is uniquely focused on new vehicle extrication, using original crashed New Holland agricultural machinery, buses, and heavy trucks. This is not a generalised demonstration; it's a structured 3-hour hands-on session (Area N73) with a strict limit of 12 participants. This low ratio ensures maximum time with the tools and personalised instruction from IDEX experts to master rescue techniques on late-model materials.

What is the value of the 'Certified Workshop' and how do I receive my certification?

The 1.5-hour workshop (Pavilion 33) provides certified, in-depth knowledge from industry leaders like Mercedes, ITLS Germany, and Renault. Certification validates your participation in specialised areas like high-voltage safety and advanced trauma care. You will receive an official workshop/training certification issued by the respective presenter upon completion of your session.

What is the difference between the Technical and Medical ticket categories?

A: The two categories allocate seats to ensure a balanced, relevant training environment:

  • Technical (8 seats): For personnel focused on extrication and vehicle-based rescue (Fire Brigade, THW/Technical Aid, Others).

  • Medical (4 seats): For personnel focused on patient care and trauma management at the scene (EMS/Medical Service, Others). This separation ensures the content is tailored to your primary role during the practical scenario.

What happens if a session is fully booked?

Due to the severe limit of 12 seats per session, we highly recommend registering early. If your preferred session is fully booked, you will automatically receive an email notification placing you on a waitlist. Should a spot become available, you will be contacted immediately to secure your place.
